Internal Site

We have an internal site that is currently underdevelopment. Once ready it will be available at leaders.5thportdollymount.ie.

Access Information

Access is available for leaders that are marked as Section or Assistant Leader within Spond and uses email address specified in Spond. See below for instructions to check. 

Gmail address will work with no configuration needed. However non Gmail addresses may require you to set up a google account for your existing email. Check the steps below.

Checking Administrator Roles

1. Open the Spond app and select the group you want to check.

2. Tap on the Members section (this is usually a button with the number of members in the group).

3. In the member list, you should see a separate tab or section for Administrators. Tap on this to view a list of all administrators in the group.

4. To see a specific admin's role and permissions, tap on their name (those that are marked as Section or Assistant Leader will have access)

Checking email used

1. Open the Spond app.

2. Tap on your profile picture (located at the top of the screen).

3. Navigate to Contact information.

4. Your primary email address will be displayed there.

Accessing with non Gmail Account

We use Google Workspace for our site as a result users with a Google / Gmail account can log in using this. If you don't have a Gmail you can create a Google account using an existing email address (like your work email or an address from another provider e.g. yahoo, outlook) instead of creating a new Gmail address.

Here are the step-by-step instructions::

1. Go to the Google account sign-up page: accounts.google.com/signup

2. Fill out the form i.e. Name, Dob etc

3. When asked to enter an email address or phone number enter your current address e.g. joeblogs@hotmail.com

4. You will be asked to verify your email with a code. Check your email and copy the code into the form

5. Create password

6. Verify your phone number

7. It might say that you already have an account associated with your number. If so select "Continue creating a new account"

8. When asked to "Get more from your number" select any option that suits you

9. Continue through remaining steps (mainly next, agree etc)

10. When you go to leaders.5thportdollymount.ie you should have access. If asked to login use your email (i.e. from step 3) and password (from step 5)
