Investiture

Scout investiture is a special ceremony where new members are officially welcomed into Scouting worldwide and the scout group. It marks the moment when a young person makes their Scout Promise, pledging to live by the Scout Law and values. During the ceremony, the new member receives their Scout neckerchief and woggle along with their membership badges signifying their formal entry into the Scout community.  This event is a meaningful rite of passage, emphasising commitment to teamwork, service, and the spirit of adventure. It’s a proud moment for both the scout and their leaders, as they embark on their Scouting journey.
