Each section draws up a code of conduct/charter with the scouts which goes through what is expected of the youth members during their scouting time and each parent/guardian and scout should be familiar with these codes and also the possible responses to breaking the codes. The Scout Law and Promise are the underlying principles for the codes of conduct in each section.
